The File Splitter is a freeware HTML tool that allows you to quickly and easily split large text files (up to 4GB) into smaller, more manageable files. The utility does not alter the original source file - it generates new files.
With this utility, you can now chop up monthly web server log files into chunks small enough to load completely into Microsoft Excel (which has a ~64,000 line limit) for detailed analysis.
